Mosman Community Gardeners welcomes new members. You can visit us any time our gardens are open.
You can join us in with either an individual membership or a family membership.
Individual annual membership is $55 pa (plus $1 joining fee).
Family membership is $75 pa (plus $1 joining fee per adult member).
Children are free but must be accompanied by an adult family member.
Membership runs for the financial year starting in July and ending in June. Each adult member of the family completes a membership form. If you join mid financial year i.e. after 31 December, the cost is $30 (plus $1 joining fee) for individuals and $50 (plus $2 joining fees) for families with 2 adult members.
Gardening membership fees go towards the costs of insurance, building beds, planting, maintenance and advocacy. Gardening is conducted as a social activity and harvesting is shared by those people present at the time.
Download a membership form here. You can bring the completed form to one of the garden sessions and membership will be approved at the next committee meeting. We prefer payment to be made through banking transfer details on the form.
Membership Matters
MCG Inc has public liability insurance and volunteers insurance for the Mackie Lane site. At Middle Head the garden is operated by MCG but members gardening there enroll as volunteers for NPWS.
Health and Safety
MCG has guidelines for safety and conduct in the gardens as well as for the safety of children. These are available at the garden for reading before joining. Membership is conditional upon reading and agreeing to the health and safety guidelines.
